Lakewood Subdivision located in North Bossier City, LA has an older area which was built back in the early 1990’s and a new area where they are building new homes now. This is a very large subdivision, the yards here are very large some sit on 2 acres of land. The homes here are not close together, they have some distance between them, because of the big yards. It is located north of I-220 just outside Bossier City limits, so you do save a little on City taxes, and there are no homeowner association dues.

Many of the older homes in this area have been updated and remolded to match the newer area, and you can find better bargains in the older area, by examining the price per square foot.
